COMBAT SYSTEMA is a combative science based on the traditions of the Russian martial arts. During the Soviet era, arguably the most extensive government-sponsored research into human combat performance was conducted, resulting in the martial approach known as Systema or “The System”. Researchers blended traditional Slavic systems with martial practices from around the world and distilled them into an empirically tested curriculum.
Russian Systema was introduced to the province of Quebec In 1999 by Kevin Secours. After more than 10 years of research and training under leading Slavic masters, he founded The International Combat Systema Association to offer a comprehensive, integrated understanding of the ground-breaking Russian training methodologies specifically adapted for Western learners. Its detailed curriculum respects the traditional values of the Russian arts while incorporating modern teaching approaches, consideration of Western use-of-force norms and a hyper-accelerated framework that uses pressure testing to more rapidly reinforce new reflexes in its practitioners.
Combat Systema will teach you:
